A variety of Equine, Ranch and Survival Programs are available at The Ranch and are offered from 1 to 5 days in length.  Book your classes now.

Each class includes day corrals for horses attending the programs and space near arena for self-containe living quarters horse trailer or camper.  Horse owners are responsible for bringing their own feed.  Single day programs include lunch and refreshments.  Multi-day programs include appropriate meals and refreshments. Grant Mitchell - Instructor Ranch Programs

A little about Grant…

Captain Grant Mitchell has in-depth working knowledge in ranch operations and management, horse training and bomb-proofing, mounted law enforcement, mounted search and rescue and backcountry rescue operations, wilderness and maritime medical care, science and environmental education, wilderness recreation and education, wildlife tracker, VIP personal security and protection (including recording artists, governors, celebrity personnel, a presidential candidate and a former president), weapons safety and marksmanship, sail and motor yacht operations, wildlife behavior and tracking, air, sea and land navigation.

Instruction and speaking engagements include: self defense on horseback, backcountry emergency care for horse, rider and canine, mounted officer training, universal riding techniques for trail, service and show, ecotourism ethics and practices, adventure program risk management, wildlife and human tracking, wild medicinal and edible plants, wilderness survival and wilderness medicine.
